The Extech BR200 Video Borescope/Wireless Inspection Camera’s purpose is to wriggle into those small and tight areas that we just can’t reach on our own.
It does this with 1 metre long flexible gooseneck cable that is attached to a small camera, which gives it a tremendous amount of flexibility in areas that are difficult to manoeuver. The images and videos that are captured by the camera are then sent back to the wireless 3.5 inch LCD colour display, which you can hold in one hand and can also be detached.
Because of the length cable that is included in this equipment kit, and the small size of the camera itself, it is not uncommon that cameras such as these are used as outdoor security cameras as they can be used from great distances.
The borescope camera is also fitted with four LED lights whose brightness can be adjusted to suit the area that you are working in, for example, it can be brightened up when working in a particularly dark area to ensure that the monitor video feed is the highest possible quality.
Once you have taken all of the images and monitor video feeds, you can then store them in the 2GB microSD card which can then be removed from the device and inserted into your computer, where you can browse through them all using Windows Media Player.
